SHIPPING & RETURNS

SHIPPING POLICY

Except where specified by the customer, Gilder Parts will use the carrier service it deems to be most appropriate considering the size of the items, service required and giving the best and cost effective service for the item(s) being shipped.

 

All shipping costs will be incurred by the customer unless agreed by Gilder Parts during the sales negotiation process.

 

All risk in the goods shall pass to the Customer upon delivery to agreed destination.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

In addition to our Shipping Policy, further notes for International Shipments are as follows.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Gilder Parts is not responsible for these charges, if they are applied, these are your responsibility as the customer.

Any additional fees incurred for any supplementary paperwork required for export will be charged back to the customer.

SECOND HAND ITEMS

We endeavour to give accurate descriptions and explanations of the condition of all items when advertising second hand items for sale.  The photographs in the advertisement are images of the actual item that you will be purchasing.  We will do our best to supply additional photographs and information if requested.  Please note that these items may not be as clean and pristine as new items.

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

Please inform us within 24 hours of receipt of goods if an item is faulty or damaged by emailing partsales@wgilder.co.uk .  Please keep the packaging material as the carrier may need to inspect the box and packaging.  Photograph any damage to packaging and item as soon as possible and email those to us.  Gilder Parts will arrange collection, or we may ask the customer to arrange this at Gilder Parts cost and at a suitable time.  No items should be returned without prior authorisation.  Once the goods are received back at base they will be inspected and Gilder Parts will communicate with the customer.  If the items are found to be faulty or damaged a replacement or refund will be offered. 

Please note that no refund will be made on goods that are not faulty or damaged.

 

For those items which are sold as ‘spares or repair’ the buyer understands that we will not accept returns or credits for these transactions, these are a ‘one off’ purchase.  Please ensure that all relevant questions regarding the item are asked before ordering.
